JOSE NAVAS

Writer and director born in Nicaragua and raised in Miami, Florida. He studied film at the Miami International University of Arts and Design before founding the production company FlickHouse Studios. Jose’s feature documentary debut was MIAMI OUR CITY (2016). He co-wrote and directed the award winning short film El Balsero, which went on to win Best Short Film at HBO's New York Latino Film Festival and Audience Award for Best Short Film at the prestigious Miami Film Festival.
